Summary
In SACNR, you can purchase houses. As of now, there are around 850 houses around San Andreas. Many of these houses (Around 350) are still for sale. To buy a house, walk in and type /buy. House prices range from $60,000 to $8,000,000. House prices depend on how many times they have been bought, and how popular the area is. You can own up to two houses.
General Info
To get a list of all of the houses you own, where they are, and the amount of money in storage, you can type /houses.
If you quit the game while inside your house, you will spawn in your house the next time you connect. If you parked a vehicle outside, that will be saved too. Vehicle paint jobs or other modifications are not saved. Air vehicles can not be saved.
You can change the name of your house, using the /house menu, or by typing /housename [Name]. House names must be less than 20 characters, and more than 2.
Storage And Robberies
No other players can enter your house, unless you have given them keys. The only other way another player can enter your house, is if the player is a cop, and there is a wanted player inside your house, or if another civilian breaks into your house.
You can also store money in your house, but beware, any civilian who manages to get into your house via break-in or keys, can rob your house. So, be careful who you give your house keys to. If you are unsure, you can always /resethousekeys, which removes access to your house for all players. You can give keys to as many players as you like with /givekeys. If you want to remove a specific player's access to your house, you can type /takehousekeys [ID/Nick]. To see a list of players with access to your house, visit www.sacnr.com, click player stats, enter your username, and click the house you want to see info on.
To break into someones house, walk up outside their house and type /breakin. If you are successful, you will receive a wanted level, and be taken into their house. You can then rob their house with /robhouse. You can attempt to break into any house, but you can not rob houses if the owner is not online.
If someone robs/is robbing your house, you are allowed to kill them.
House Auto-Sell Feature
Players can lose their houses if one of the following occurs:
- The player does not visit his/her house for more than 2 weeks. Spawning in your house, or walking into your house counts as a visit.
- The player does not have enough money to pay house taxes when they come around, and subsequently the house is taken.
As of the current version of SACNR, you are automatically refunded for any houses lost due to either of these methods.
Difference between “Blacklite Inc.” and “Blacklite”
Blacklite is the username of the lead admin on SACNR. Blacklite Inc., is the company that owns all houses that aren’t owned by other players. If a house is owned by Blacklite Inc., then it is actually unowned, and you may buy it using /buy.
How to buy
There are hundreds of houses all around San Andreas. To buy a house, walk up to the door, and walk into the red checkpoint. Type /buy when you are inside.
How to rob someone else’s house
Find their house. Maybe you could follow them home or something. When at the door, type /breakin, or you could always ask for keys :). If successful with either of these, type /robhouse to begin a house robbery.
How to spawn inside your house
You must enter your house, and quit while inside it. If you have a car outside, it will be respawned when you re-join. You will then re-spawn in your house the next time you connect.
