Hello!

There is a lot of incorrect information going around, so here's the official post. Here are the changes:

  • Public service pay is now capped at 50k. Public service pay is now capped at 250k. Public service pay is no longer capped.
  • Property prices have been increased x100. The prices will slowly decrease every day over time, until we reach a point where they are fair. This will:
    • Free up many properties, forcing people to get rid of ones they can not afford and/or do not need.
    • Help stop people from spamming house/biz selling/buying in-game.
    • Closer reflect the true value of each property. If someone sells a house for "50 mil + value", then the property's value is more than 50 mil. It's value is however much people are willing to pay for it. Some houses may need their prices adjusted...
    • Stop people from buying houses for 500k then selling for 50 mil. This is a very unbalanced way to gain income, and results in many DM complaints just before and after house auto-sell times.
    • Help take some money out of the economy :)
  • Business income cap has been changed from 150k to 250k.
  • Business + bank robberies now have more "crime value". This means cops get more money for arresting someone after they have robbed a bank or business.
  • Arrests/heals are now worth $20 instead of $25. Tickets have never counted towards public service pay.

It think that this high values are realy not fair ! why ?

Beacause some of player which have about 20h playing had 1.5m and bought a hotel room now the sell their hotel room for 900m , and whe who payed up to 250m for mansion of 500k value now only get 50m.

So every1 who have a mansion can't sell it because its more worth than the value is ....

And now players with 20h playing have 150m+ lol !

Nice one witht he economy update. It really does help I think to get this economy sorted more closely to match a bit more realism. I hope it stops the small price to buy to then sell x10 the val etc etc, hence the reason in the first place. good one Blacklite.

Now when a new player starts how can she/he can get the money for a 20m+ value house/hotelroom/mansion.
So im interested to know does the money what you get from robbing biz go up? cuz its now like 800k.
And this is bad for the "veterans" who have played hundreds of hours and they have had to really work for their mansion and business now the "rookies" who had a hotelroom can sell it 80m and get the money bit too easily.

This is looking better every day.

I totally support no capping on public services (like medics and cops) but the best thing is "slowly decreasing prices".

Although this should have happened naturally, without intervention, it did not happen due to limited real-life economy likeness. If people would be "forced" to have a house, not to be homeless, and if also houses could be "built" upon request, a similar process to a real-life liberal free market would happen here. But since not everything can be simulated, I think this is the best idea so far to balance the economy.

Of course things can be further tweaked, but I find it interesting to try to let it self-balance over time, almost like a real life economy. I bet running this is as much fun as playing the game.

BL does biz value gonna change? For ex. biz in LV old strip had 600k val and now it gonna be 356k, and next ex. biz in east beach had 166k and now it gonna be 390k?
